YakiSugi (焼杉) is a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation. The wood is burned, and this preserves the wood by making it resistant to sunlight, water, and fire.
 
Made from responsibly sourced wood, foraged or sustainably grown. Sealed with natural, food safe oil.
 
Pieces may vary slightly based on the unique markings and colouration of the wood. Wooden objects are likely to change slightly in colour and feel, over time - through use and weathering.
